In getting the information on how rare some items are I have used the Christie's Paloger collection of Muhammad Ali memorabilia that was auctioned off on October 19, 1997, along with my personal experience and that of boxing experts across the country as a reference on the rarity of certain pieces.
Before ebay and other memorabilia sites were in existence a lot of this collection was gathered not for personal gain but as avid Muhammad Ali fan. As I see how the sports sites have grown and fraudulant autographs are common place and myself early on in my collecting hobby purchased some items that I now doubt there authenticity and those items are not included in my collection.
I have over three hundred items listed and I have tried my best to grade the item correctly and state any known flaws.
